Piranha

Of course you have to see piranha when you go to Amazon River. And that is why one of our activities while we were there was fishing piranha.

How did we fish them?

We used chicken meat as a bait. But it was not easy because they ate the meat super fast. Really really fast, we can barely feel them pulling down the hook.

See how sharp their teeth are. No wonder the bait was finished in few seconds.

But our group managed to fish around 12 piranhas with me contributing to NONE …

When we got back to our jungle hotel, our guide cooked the piranha for us to eat.

How did they taste?

The fish meat tasted very salty. At first i thought it was because how they cooked them. But our guide told us that they indeed tasted saltier than normal fish.
