Before heading to Lencois Maranhenses, i have to take a stop in Sao Luiz first. At least for one night. Again, because of the non-convenient flight schedule.
In Sao Luiz, I stayed at the old city area. There were many nice classical architectures but they all looked like they have been abandoned for a very long time.
I was there on a Sunday, the streets were empty and not many shops were open. To be honest, it was quite scary because it felt like a dead city after a zombie apocalypse.
